One of my favorite meals outside of Whole30 is pizza! Maybe add a cold beer and you’re set.

A local friend sent this recipe last week and vouched it was delicious and worth sharing with our Whole30 community. So you can actually thank Shelby Levy for this one, she’s a food champion!

Shelby found this recipe through a famous internet foodie Nom-Nom Paleo. I have created my own version to keep it Whole30 and simple, but please look up her stuff online, she’s a great resource.

This is for sure a creative toss up for folks wanting to have fun in the kitchen. You can add any of your favorite veggies or sub out the ones that aren’t your favorite. Just like any pizza, make it yours!

Meatza-Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1-1.5 pounds Sausage. Check for Whole30 compliance

  • 1 banana pepper, cut into bites or slices

  • 1 red bell pepper. cut into slices

  • 1 purple onion, cut into rings or slices

  • 1 cup favorite marinara sauce. Check for Whole30 compliance

  • You’ll need parchment paper, rolling pen and a baking sheet

Instructions:

  1. Measure out a piece of parchment and cut or fold appropriately to fit your baking sheet. Place the parchment on your counter space, Place all ground sausage in middle of parchment.

  2. Roll out sausage with a rolling pen. Spread sausage as much as you can, sausage will shrink up a good bit when it’s in the oven.

  3. Top sausage with sauce and veggies

  4. Bake in 450* oven for 30 minutes.

  5. Slice and place on your favorite plate. Enjoy!!
